Veedol Corporation's Managing Director resigns; Rohit Totla named MD

Veedol Corporation (NSE: VEEDOL) has said Managing Director Rajendra Nath Ghosal will resign with effect from close of business on 19 Nov 2026, and that Rohit Ghanshyamdas Totla will be appointed Managing Director from 20 Nov 2026, it said in a filing on 05 Nov 2026. Ghosal will be re-designated President until 31 Mar 2027.
The resignation and the appointment
The Board took note of Ghosal's resignation at its meeting on 5 Nov 2026. Ghosal was appointed Managing Director on 20 May 2026 after the previous Managing Director resigned, pending identification of a suitable candidate. In his resignation letter dated 4 Nov 2026, Ghosal says a new MD has been finalised and he wishes to step down.
The Board, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, appointed Totla as Additional Director and Managing Director for five years from 20 Nov 2026, subject to approval of the members and other approvals as may be required. Totla is a Key Managerial Personnel under the Companies Act, 2013 by virtue of this appointment and is not related to any of the directors.
Totla has 27 years' experience in consumer products, including 17 years at JSW Dulux, most recently as Chief Business Officer (Decorative Paints) and Executive Director for India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. Earlier roles were at Hindustan Coca Cola and Balsara Home Products (now Dabur). He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai.
Ghosal's new role and the shareholder vote
The Board re-designated Ghosal as President (Senior Management Personnel) from 20 Nov 2026 until close of business on 31 Mar 2027, to ensure continuity of management. The Board approved a postal ballot notice dated 5 Nov 2026 seeking shareholder approval for Totla's appointment by Ordinary Resolution, to be voted by postal ballot and remote e-voting.
