ACME Solar Holdings Limited has told the exchanges that a wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Renewables FZCO, has been formed in the United Arab Emirates. The certificate of formation is dated 14 Oct 2026, and the disclosure follows the company’s earlier intimation of 10 Sep 2026.

The new entity has an issued share capital of AED 10,000, divided into 10,000 ordinary shares of AED 1 each, all held by the company, and the consideration is cash. The filing says it will be a related party of the company, being its subsidiary.

The subsidiary will work in the supply chain management of renewable energy systems, components and storage products. It is meant to serve as a platform supporting the company’s renewable energy business through procurement, supply chain management, project support and other ancillary functions, including hedging of raw materials such as lithium carbonate and polysilicon that are available in international markets. No government or regulatory approval was needed for the incorporation.

    Inference

The capital is small, at AED 10,000, and the entity is described as a support platform for the group’s renewable energy projects rather than as a project developer. The filing does not give any revenue or cost expectations for it.

Hedging raw materials such as lithium carbonate and polysilicon means the entity may take positions to manage price changes in those inputs. The filing does not say how large such positions might be.
