Adani Enterprises Limited has told the exchanges on 7 Oct 2026 that CARE Ratings has upgraded its long-term rating to CARE AA; Stable from CARE AA-; Stable, which the company describes as the highest in its credit history. The upgrade applies to long-term/short-term bank facilities of ₹16,505 crore, long-term bank facilities of ₹4,000 crore and non-convertible debentures, while short-term ratings of CARE A1+ are reaffirmed.

The company says the upgrade validates its disciplined capital management, and that it has strengthened its credit profile over the last seven years while carrying out large infrastructure-led capital spending. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30(6) of the SEBI listing rules.

    Inference

The rating moves up one notch on both bank debt and debentures. The statements about validation and prudence are the company’s own wording, while CARE’s rationale is not part of the text reviewed here.
