The results carry an exceptional item of ₹6.83 crore, shown in the half-year and year columns. It relates to an incremental gratuity and leave liability recognised after the New Labour Codes took effect, assessed at 31 Dec 2025. The company describes the change as non-recurring.
The US-based subsidiaries also received insurance proceeds for a fire involving certain assets and inventories; the filing says the matter was accounted for in the results as on 30 Sep 2026. A forbearance agreement dated 9 Oct 2026 with Ascot Valley Foods Ltd. and its affiliates sets an alternate payment plan of ₹16.77 crore plus interest. Of this, ₹4.31 crore (US$0.45 million) was received on 9 Oct 2026, and the filing says the balance is receivable in later periods and that no impact has been given in these results.

Inference
The board declared an interim dividend of ₹0.60 per share, 30% of the ₹2 face value, for FY 2026-27. The filing says it will be paid within 30 days of declaration to shareholders on the register on 11 Nov 2026.
The statutory auditors, MSKA & Associates LLP, carried out a limited review and reported nothing that causes them to believe the statement contains a material misstatement. Three subsidiaries' interim figures were not reviewed by their auditors, and the auditors say these are not material to the group.
The filing gives no reason for the fall in standalone profit or the drop in other income, and does not say when the balance under the forbearance agreement will be received.
