Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Limited has reported unaudited standalone results for the quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2026. Total income for the quarter was ₹272.98 crore, up about 19.5% from ₹228.38 crore a year earlier. Profit for the quarter was ₹42.30 crore, up about 48% from ₹28.59 crore.

Profit before tax and before an exceptional item was ₹56.51 crore, against ₹38.22 crore a year earlier. Basic earnings per share were ₹6.71 for the quarter, against ₹6.43 a year earlier.

For the half year, total income was ₹519.12 crore against ₹429.95 crore a year earlier, and profit was ₹65.81 crore against ₹51.96 crore. In the June quarter, the company recognised an exceptional expense of about ₹21 crore as compensation to two clients of its depository participant business who lost securities in fraudulent off-market transfers from their demat accounts; it has reported the matter to the authorities and lodged an FIR.

The company reports in ₹ million, and the figures here are converted to ₹ crore. The results are unaudited and were reviewed by the statutory auditors, who issued an unmodified conclusion.

    Inference

The September quarter shows income and profit above the year-earlier quarter, and the profit gain was larger than the income gain. The half-year profit also reflects the one-time compensation expense in the June quarter, which the statement shows separately as an exceptional item.

The filing says the company believes there was no systemic failure of internal controls, and the matter is under investigation. Shareholders may want to watch for further disclosures on the fraud case, as well as how brokerage and interest income trend in later quarters.
