Ashoka Buildcon receives a ₹290.23 crore letter of acceptance from North Eastern Railway

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has told the exchanges on 9 Oct 2026 that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from North Eastern Railway for the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of traction sub stations with associated switching posts, for the 2x25 kV AT traction feeding system in the Gorakhpur Cantt–Chhapra Gramin section of Varanasi Division. The work is on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction basis.
The order value is ₹290.23 crore including GST, with a completion period of 24 months from commencement. The performance bank guarantee is 5% of the contract price, and the defect liability period is two years. It is a domestic order, and the promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity.

With a 24-month completion period, the revenue would be spread over about two years. The value includes GST, so the amount before tax is lower.
