Authum Investment & Infrastructure Limited has told the exchanges that it has paid ₹350 crore for certain assets of Wind World (India) Limited under a resolution plan, and that a ₹100 crore deposit it made to Vibhav Energy Private Limited has been converted into a 25% stake. The disclosure was made on 10 Oct 2026 under Regulation 30 of the SEBI listing rules, and follows its earlier intimations of 20 Feb 2026 and 28 Jul 2026.
The resolution plan was submitted by a consortium of Inox Neo Energies Limited, the lead member, and Authum, and was approved by the National Company Law Tribunal on 27 Jul 2026. Authum’s commitment under the plan, as the price for certain identified assets of Wind World, was ₹350 crore, and the company says it has now paid that amount, after deducting statutory payments such as TDS.
The plan let the lead member and Authum agree terms for Authum to put debt or equity into Wind World. Because the tribunal did not approve the scheme of arrangement that was part of the plan, the consortium changed the structure, and its monitoring committee approved the revised structure on 31 Aug 2026. Under it, Authum had the option to put money into Vibhav Energy Private Limited, one of the lead member’s implementation entities. Under an inter-corporate deposit agreement dated 28 Sep 2026, Authum paid ₹100 crore to Vibhav, and on 9 Oct 2026 that amount was converted into equity shares representing 25% of Vibhav’s paid-up share capital on a fully diluted basis, which Vibhav has allotted to Authum.
Inference
Authum has now paid the full ₹350 crore it committed. Separately, it holds a quarter of Vibhav Energy, which is one of the lead member’s entities and not Wind World itself.
The filing does not say what Vibhav will do with the money or what Authum’s next steps are. It states that the original structure was changed because the tribunal did not approve part of the scheme.
