The report, published on Moneycontrol on 13 Oct 2026 under the headline "Bandhan Bank stock jumps 7% on reports of Abu Dhabi's IHC exploring promoter stake acquisition", said that Abu Dhabi's IHC was exploring acquiring a promoter stake in the bank. The bank's share price rose 9.02% on 13 Oct 2026, from ₹157.35 to ₹171.55.

The bank says it is not aware of any such development and has not received any communication on it, so it is not in a position to comment on the correctness of the news item. It says it has not withheld disclosure of any material information, that there is no impending announcement that could be considered material, and that it understands the price movement to be driven purely by market conditions.

It adds that it is unaware of any regulatory or legal proceedings in this regard and that there is no material impact of the article on the bank. The filing is a response to the exchanges' clarification request under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
