Brainbees Solutions Limited, which runs FirstCry, has told the exchanges on 7 Oct 2026 that its subsidiary GlobalBees Brands Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding that day to sell its entire 51.54% shareholding in Mush Textile Private Limited. Mush is a step-down subsidiary of Brainbees, and will cease to be one on completion. The sale is expected to complete on or before 15 Oct 2026.
The aggregate consideration is ₹5,68,93,940, with the buyer being Mr. Nihar Gosalia, an existing shareholder of Mush. The company says the price exceeds GlobalBees’ cost of acquisition and a capital gain will be recognised. Mush contributed ₹11.34 crore of turnover, 0.13% of the company’s, and ₹2.09 crore of net worth, 0.04%, in FY 2025-26, while the “Mush” and “BePlush” brands together sold about ₹16.12 crore.
Inference
The sale is very small relative to the company’s size, at about 0.13% of turnover. The completion date is only about a week after the agreement.
