Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited has told the exchanges that on 9 Oct 2026 it received letters dated 30 Sep 2026 from CARE Ratings Limited on the annual surveillance of its ratings. The letter on certificates of deposit arrived at 7:54 PM, and the letter on the issuer rating and Tier II bonds at 10:33 PM. The bank made the disclosure on 10 Oct 2026 under Regulation 30 of the SEBI listing rules.

CARE reaffirmed the issuer rating at CARE AA-; Stable, and the ratings on the bank’s Tier II bonds at CARE AA-; Stable. It also reaffirmed the rating on the bank’s certificates of deposit at CARE A1+. The agency’s letters are enclosed, and it says the ratings are an opinion on creditworthiness and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.

    Inference

All the ratings are unchanged, so this is a routine annual review. AA- is the lowest notch in the AA category on CARE’s long-term scale, and A1+ is its highest short-term rating.

The agency’s letter says it based the review on the bank’s audited results for FY26 and provisional results for the first quarter of FY27. The filing does not give any new figures.
