Panama Petrochem Limited has told the exchanges that CARE Ratings Limited has revised the outlook on its long-term bank facilities from Stable to Positive while reaffirming the rating, in a press release dated 12 Oct 2026. The long-term bank facilities are rated CARE A+; Positive, and the short-term bank facilities are rated CARE A1+, which is reaffirmed. The company made the disclosure on 12 Oct 2026 under Regulation 30(6) of the SEBI listing rules.
The company’s Managing Director and CEO signed the letter, and the agency’s press release is enclosed.
Inference
A positive outlook means the agency sees a higher chance that it will raise the rating in the future than that it will lower it. It is not an upgrade, and the ratings themselves are unchanged.
The reasons for the change in outlook are in CARE’s press release attached to the filing and not in the company’s covering letter.
