CARE Ratings upgrades Arvind’s subsidiary Arvind Envisol to A-/Stable

Arvind Limited has told the exchanges that CARE Ratings Limited has upgraded the credit ratings of its subsidiary, Arvind Envisol Limited. CARE’s press release is dated 9 Oct 2026, and the company received it on 12 Oct 2026 and made the disclosure the same day under Regulation 30 of the SEBI listing rules.

The rated long-term and short-term bank facilities of ₹135 crore, reduced from ₹137 crore, are now rated CARE A-; Stable and CARE A2+, up from CARE BBB+; Stable and CARE A2. Long-term bank facilities of ₹7.50 crore, reduced from ₹10.09 crore, are rated CARE A-; Stable, up from CARE BBB+; Stable, and short-term bank facilities of ₹1.00 crore are rated CARE A2+, up from CARE A2.

CARE says the upgrade reflects the subsidiary’s better scale of operations and profitability in FY26, healthy order execution, improved operating efficiency and operating leverage, and a strong order book as of 31 Aug 2026. It also points to the strong financial profile of the parent, which it rates CARE AA; Stable, and to the subsidiary’s patented technology and reputed clients, while noting working capital-intensive operations and a concentrated order book as weaknesses.

Inference

The upgrade moves the subsidiary’s long-term rating up by one notch, from BBB+ to A-, and its short-term rating from A2 to A2+. CARE links it partly to the subsidiary’s own results and partly to the strength of its parent.

The rated amounts are small relative to the parent, at about ₹143 crore in total. The filing notes the agency’s own list of weaknesses, which includes a concentration of orders in a few large contracts.
