Upgrades on all three facility groups

All three groups of bank facilities were moved up one notch in the filing. The long term facilities were upgraded from CARE A- to CARE A, the long term and short term facilities moved from CARE A- to CARE A, and the short term facilities moved from CARE A2+ to CARE A1.

The rating letter says the review considered FY26 (audited) and Q1 FY27 (unaudited) performance. The filing does not give the reasons for the upgrade beyond that review.

Changes in the size of the facilities

The rated amount of the long term / short term facilities rose to ₹825.00 crore from ₹673.00 crore, and the short term facilities rose to ₹480.00 crore from ₹437.00 crore. The long term facilities fell to ₹169.19 crore from ₹205.08 crore.

    Context from recent filings

The company's latest quarter, Q1 FY27 on a consolidated basis, reported total income of ₹296.94 crore, up 30.3% year on year. The rating review covered the same quarter, which the agency describes as unaudited.

The rating agency says it may review the rating at any time and will review it at least once a year. It also says the rating will carry the designation ISSUER NOT COOPERATING if the company does not provide information when asked.

What the rating revision means for Dee Development Engineers' shareholders

The revision raises the company's rating on its bank facilities, and the rated amounts rose in two of the three groups. The filing does not state the reasons for the upgrade or how the facilities will be used. The rating report will be sent separately, and CARE Ratings says a press release is proposed, with the company's comments requested by 05 Nov 2026.
