Delhi High Court stays NHAI debarment orders against PNC Infratech and Awadh Expressway

PNC Infratech Limited has told the exchanges that it and its special purpose vehicle, Awadh Expressway Private Limited (the concessionaire), obtained an order from the Delhi High Court dated 12 Oct 2026 staying the debarment orders issued by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company downloaded the order on 13 Oct 2026.
The debarment orders are dated 3 Sep 2026, against the concessionaire, and 11 Sep 2026, which extended the debarment to the company. The filing follows the company's earlier intimations of 6 Aug 2026 and 14 Sep 2026.
The company says that development, construction, operations and maintenance activities of the company and its subsidiaries continue unaffected, and that it will disclose any financial implications in due course. It adds that the trading window for designated persons was already closed under its insider trading code.
Inference
A stay means the debarment orders cannot take effect while the stay lasts, so the position the company was in before the orders is restored for now. It is an interim relief, not a final decision on the dispute with NHAI.
The filing does not give the underlying reasons for the debarment or the outcome of the case. Shareholders may want to follow the court's later hearings and any further disclosure, since the company has said it will report financial implications if there are any.
