Greenply Industries Limited has told the exchanges that it received an order from the Assistant Commissioner of Central Tax, CGST and Central Excise, Bishnupur Division, Kolkata South Commissionerate, on 14 Oct 2026 at 5:31 PM. The order covers FY2020-21 to FY2023-24 and disallows input tax credit the company had availed.
The order confirms a tax demand of ₹1,07,81,972 and a penalty of ₹1,07,81,972, about ₹1.08 crore each, along with applicable interest. The company says the adjudicating authority raised the demand, penalty and interest on the basis stated in the order, and that it has fulfilled all the conditions.
