Jio Financial Services Limited has reported unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2026. Consolidated total income excluding dividend was ₹1,699 crore for the quarter, up 132% from a year earlier. Pre-provisioning operating profit, excluding dividend, rose 85% to ₹574 crore, and profit before tax, excluding dividend, rose 51% to ₹489 crore. Profit after tax was ₹340 crore.
The company notes that profit after tax in the June 2026 quarter and in the year-earlier quarter included dividend income, which affects comparison. For the half year, total income excluding dividend was ₹3,195 crore, up 136%, and profit after tax was ₹1,171 crore, up 15%.
Profit after tax of the lending arm, Jio Credit Limited, rose 140% to ₹120 crore, and its assets under management reached ₹37,320 crore, up 154%. The asset management arm's closing AUM was ₹22,746 crore, up 57%, and payment solutions processed ₹14,682 crore in total payment value, up 8%. Consolidated shareholders' equity was about ₹1.3 lakh crore.
The filing also records that the company's paid-up equity share capital increased from ₹6,353.14 crore (635.31 crore shares) to ₹6,603.14 crore (660.31 crore shares), and the promoter and promoter group holding became 49.13% from 47.12%, with 25 crore warrants remaining.
Inference
The figures show the lending, asset management and payments businesses growing quickly from a small base, while the headline growth rates are partly a result of how dividend income is counted. Profit after tax is a smaller number than pre-provisioning profit because of provisions and tax.
The company does not give guidance for later quarters. Shareholders may want to follow loan book growth, credit quality and provisions, and how much of profit continues to come from dividends rather than from the lending and other operating businesses.
