Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has told the exchanges, through a press release dated 13 Oct 2026, that it has secured new orders and a letter of comfort worth about ₹2,031 crore in its power transmission and distribution (T&D) business, in India and international markets. In addition, its Swedish subsidiary, Linjemontage i Grästorp AB, has received an order worth about ₹194 crore, or roughly SEK 200 million. Together the company puts the new wins at about ₹2,225 crore.

The Linjemontage order is from the Swedish grid operator Ellevio, runs over three years, and is a turnkey contract for a substation project: it includes foundation and civil works, a control building, control equipment, assembly and installation, and testing and commissioning. The project includes a new 130 kV substation, and final inspection is scheduled for 15 Oct 2029.

KPIL says orders worth about ₹20,000 crore have been secured so far in the current fiscal year, which it describes as more than 30% growth year on year. Its Managing Director and CEO, Manish Mohnot, said the wins reflect investment in transmission infrastructure, grid expansion and renewable energy integration in India and global markets. The company says the orders were received in the normal course of business.

KPIL describes itself as one of the world's largest engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies, with a presence in 75 countries and revenue of ₹27,143 crore in FY2026.

    Inference

New orders add to the work the company has to execute, and revenue from them is earned as projects progress. The filing does not say how the ₹2,225 crore compares with KPIL's total order book, what margin the orders carry, or when they will start contributing to revenue.

The year-to-date figure and the growth rate are the company's own statements. Shareholders may want to follow KPIL's quarterly results for how orders are being converted into revenue and profit, and to see how the company's order book moves.
