KEC International Limited has told the exchanges that it has secured new orders worth ₹1,014 crore in its India transmission and distribution business. The company filed a press release on 10 Oct 2026, and says all the orders were received in the normal course of business.

The orders include its first order for setting up a 765 kV transmission line to carry power from a pumped storage plant in Western India. Managing Director and CEO Vimal Kejriwal says it is from an existing client and marks an important milestone for the business, as it supports the growing power infrastructure needs of renewable energy. He adds that, with these wins, the company’s order intake for the year so far stands at over ₹9,600 crore.

The press release describes the company as a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction company in the RPG Group, working in power transmission and distribution, civil, transportation, renewables, oil and gas pipelines, and cables and conductors.

    Inference

The ₹1,014 crore is the combined value of the new orders, and the filing does not give the split between the 765 kV line and the others. The 765 kV line is a first for the company in connecting a pumped storage plant, which stores energy by pumping water uphill.

The figure for order intake so far this year is the company’s own measure and is not a revenue number. The filing does not say when the orders are to be executed.
