Paushak’s September-quarter profit rises 57% to ₹13.5 crore as revenue grows 52%

Paushak Limited has told the exchanges that it released its unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2026 on 16 Oct 2026. Profit after tax for the September quarter was ₹13.51 crore, up 57% from ₹8.61 crore a year earlier, and revenue from operations rose 52% to ₹89.32 crore from ₹58.78 crore.

Revenue from operations was 7% above the ₹83.55 crore of the June 2026 quarter, while profit was 11% below the ₹15.10 crore of that quarter. Profit before tax was ₹18.60 crore, against ₹11.34 crore a year earlier. Basic and diluted earnings per share were ₹5.48, against ₹3.49, with earlier periods restated for the sub-division of shares and the bonus issue.

Finance costs were ₹1.35 crore, against ₹0.04 crore a year earlier, and depreciation and amortisation expense was ₹8.44 crore, against ₹4.47 crore. For the half year, revenue from operations was ₹172.87 crore against ₹114.66 crore a year earlier, and profit after tax was ₹28.62 crore against ₹20.65 crore. Inference

Revenue and profit were both well above their year-earlier levels. Finance costs and depreciation were also much higher than a year earlier, which points to more borrowing and a larger asset base than a year earlier, although the filing does not say how.

Compared with the June quarter, revenue was higher but profit was lower. The filing does not explain the change, and the cost lines in the results statement are where the movement can be seen.
