Inference
The statutory auditor, BS R & Co. LLP, carried out a limited review of both sets of results and states that nothing has come to its attention that causes it to believe the statement contains any material misstatement. For the consolidated results, the auditor did not review the interim information of one subsidiary, with total assets of ₹1,374.48 crore before consolidation adjustments, and relied on other auditors for one joint venture and four subsidiaries; its conclusion is not modified on this matter.
The company allotted 14,14,450 equity shares of ₹1 each to PG Electroplast Limited Employees Welfare Trust under its employee stock options scheme for 2020 during the six months, increasing paid-up share capital by ₹14.14 lakh. Net QIP proceeds were ₹1,477.56 crore after issue-related expenses of ₹19.15 crore. Of these proceeds, nil was used in the quarter, ₹130.00 crore in the six months and ₹1,445.35 crore cumulatively, and ₹32.21 crore is invested in fixed deposits.
The filing does not say why consolidated revenue and profit moved as they did between the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026 and this quarter, or what the company plans to do with the unused QIP balance.
