Polycab India Limited has told the exchanges on 8 Oct 2026 that it has filed an appeal before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) to set aside the order of the National Company Law Tribunal, Ahmedabad Bench, of 7 Oct 2026. That order admitted a corporate insolvency resolution petition under Section 9 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code in the matter of Asier Metals Private Limited versus Polycab India Limited, over an alleged operational debt of ₹2.79 crore.

The appeal is listed for hearing before NCLAT on 9 Oct 2026. The company says it will continue to notify the exchanges of material events, and the disclosure continues its earlier intimation of 7 Oct 2026.

    Inference

The filing records the step of appealing and the hearing date and does not describe the underlying dispute. The alleged debt is small, and the next development depends on the appellate tribunal’s decision.
