RBL Bank Limited has told the exchanges that it released its unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2026 on 12 Oct 2026. The bank, which describes itself as a subsidiary of Emirates NBD Bank, reported standalone net profit of ₹481.77 crore for the September quarter, against ₹178.52 crore a year earlier and ₹253.70 crore in the June 2026 quarter.
Total income was ₹5,399.45 crore, up 22% from ₹4,440.17 crore, with interest earned of ₹4,322.09 crore, against ₹3,507.47 crore. Interest expended rose more slowly, to ₹2,191.16 crore from ₹1,956.79 crore. Operating profit before provisions was ₹1,396.13 crore, against ₹728.39 crore, while provisions and contingencies were ₹766.53 crore, against ₹499.70 crore. Profit before tax was ₹629.60 crore, against ₹228.69 crore.
Gross NPAs were 1.02% of gross advances, against 2.32% a year earlier and 1.30% in June, and net NPAs were 0.29%, against 0.57%. The capital adequacy ratio was 30.10%, against 14.71% a year earlier, and net worth was ₹42,061 crore, against ₹14,977 crore. Paid-up capital was ₹1,551.64 crore, against ₹613.02 crore. Basic earnings per share were ₹3.11, against ₹2.92. For the half year, net profit was ₹735.47 crore against ₹378.85 crore.
Inference
Operating profit before provisions was nearly twice its year-earlier level, and that rise outweighed the higher provisions, which is why profit rose so sharply.
Net worth and paid-up capital are both far above their year-earlier levels, which the capital adequacy ratio reflects, and the share count has grown, so earnings per share rose by only about 6% while profit rose 2.7 times. The filing’s balance sheet also shows deposits of ₹1,56,272 crore and net advances of ₹1,42,314 crore.
