Consolidated total income grew faster than net profit fell short of it. Total income rose 18.5% to ₹927.89 crore, but net profit fell 76.1% to ₹20.25 crore, and profit before tax fell 71.7% to ₹28.01 crore. Other income of ₹25.29 crore is 90.3% of profit before tax this quarter, so the profit base is small relative to it.

Finance costs of ₹24.02 crore are 2.6% of total income, up 76.2% from ₹13.63 crore a year earlier. Depreciation of ₹14.92 crore rose 9.0%. The notes list ₹2.63 crore of exceptional items, the net carrying value of plant, machinery and inventory damaged in a fire at the Ambala subsidiary facility; the filing says the insurance claim is in progress and any recovery has not been ascertained or recognised.

The attributable figure of ₹21.25 crore is ₹1.00 crore above the profit for the period of ₹20.25 crore. The filing gives no explanation of that gap, so the two figures are shown side by side here.

The inventory valuation change from FIFO to moving weighted average cost was applied retrospectively.

Tax expense of ₹5.02 crore is 27.1% of profit before tax, up 141.3% from ₹2.08 crore. Finance costs of ₹6.71 crore are 2.1% of total income, up 39.7% from a year earlier.

    Inference

The filing states that the company completed an IPO in the year ended 31 Mar 2026, with fresh issue proceeds of ₹6,999.99 million, and that ₹1,117.64 million of IPO proceeds remained unutilised at 30 Sep 2026, held in fixed deposits of scheduled commercial banks.

The filing records the acquisition of 80% of Saatvik Transvolt Solutions Private Limited for ₹24.00 million, with ₹20 million of deferred consideration for the remaining 20% payable within 2 years. Consolidated borrowings stood at ₹978.89 crore non-current and ₹932.61 crore current at 30 Sep 2026.

The filing does not give the reason for the fall in consolidated profit beyond the fire loss, the amount or timing of any insurance recovery, or the reasons for higher finance costs, and it does not state a dividend.
