Supreme Industries Q2 FY27 Results: Consolidated Net Profit ₹262 Crore on Total Income of ₹3,370 Crore

Net profit rose 59.3% YoY, faster than total income at 39.9% and profit before tax at 58.0%. Revenue from operations rose 40.4% while other income fell 44.1% to ₹8.69 crore, which is 0.3% of total income. Tax expense rose 54.0% to ₹81.47 crore, equal to 23.7% of profit before tax.

The consolidated figures include the share of profit of the associate Supreme Petrochem Limited, in which the company holds 30.78%. That share was ₹29.60 crore for the quarter, against ₹73.05 crore in the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026, and equals 8.6% of consolidated profit before tax. Quarter on quarter, net profit fell 6.5% while total income rose 23.6%.

Basic EPS was ₹20.66 against ₹12.97 a year earlier and ₹22.10 in the previous quarter. Depreciation was ₹122.30 crore, up 17.2% YoY and flat QoQ.

Standalone net profit of ₹279.25 crore is ₹16.81 crore above the consolidated figure of ₹262.44 crore, and standalone total income of ₹3,416.26 crore is ₹46.30 crore above the consolidated ₹3,369.96 crore. Revenue from operations is the same ₹3,361.27 crore in both natures, so the gap sits in other income: ₹54.99 crore standalone against ₹8.69 crore consolidated.

Standalone other income of ₹54.99 crore is 1.6% of total income and 15.2% of profit before tax of ₹360.72 crore. Standalone net profit rose 44.5% YoY, slower than profit before tax at 46.5%, and 34.4% QoQ, faster than total income at 25.3%. Tax expense is the same ₹81.47 crore in both natures.

Standalone basic EPS was ₹21.98 against ₹15.22 a year earlier and ₹16.36 in the previous quarter.

Inference

The board approved an interim dividend of ₹12 per share of ₹2 each for FY 2026-27, payable on 12,70,26,870 equity shares, with 30 Oct 2026 as the record date. At that share count the payout is about ₹152.43 crore, a figure derived from the per share amount; the filing does not state the payment date.

The half-year cash flow statements show an outflow of ₹302.22 crore for the acquisition of undertakings of Wavin. The filing describes the acquisition only through that cash flow line, so what it adds to revenue or profit is not known from the filing, and neither is the reason for the standalone other income of ₹54.99 crore.
