What the plants will contain

The desalination plant will comprise lamella clarifiers, dissolved air flotation filters (DAFF), an ultra filtration (UF) system, and associated chemical dosing and backwash systems. It is followed by Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) and Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) systems, with dosing, product water storage and brine outfall pumping systems.

The remineralization plant will comprise limestone filters, a lime handling system, a carbon dioxide storage and dosing system, and a storage and pumping system.
