WeWork India Management Limited has told the exchanges on 8 Oct 2026 that it has entered into a Leave and License Agreement for capacity addition in Pune, admeasuring 1,60,744 square feet. The additional capacity is about 2,881 desks and is expected to be operational on or before Jul 2027.

As at 30 Jun 2026, the company’s existing capacity was 1,33,573 desks with utilisation of 84.90%. The investment required is about ₹44 crore, to be financed from internal accruals or debt, and the stated rationale is to cater to incremental demand and enhance capacity in line with business growth.

    Inference

The addition is about 2% of existing desk capacity, so the expansion is modest in scale. Utilisation of nearly 85% shows that existing capacity was largely occupied in June 2026.
