Isgec Heavy Engineering Limited has told the exchanges that ICRA Limited has reviewed and reaffirmed the credit ratings on ₹905 crore of lines of credit to Isgec Hitachi Zosen Limited, which the filing describes as a subsidiary and joint venture of the company. The ICRA letter is dated 12 Oct 2026.

The ratings are [ICRA]A (Stable) for long-term and [ICRA]A2+ for short-term facilities. The limits consist of ₹845 crore of fund-based and non-fund-based working capital and other facilities and ₹60 crore of unallocated limits, spread across banks including Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, HSBC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, IDFC FIRST Bank, Federal Bank, RBL Bank and ICICI Bank.

The filing says there is no change in the rating compared with the one assigned previously, and compares the ratings of 12 Oct 2026 with those of 2 Sep 2025. The total of ₹905 crore is also unchanged, though the split of limits across banks differs between the two dates in places.

    Inference

A reaffirmation means the agency reviewed the rated entity and kept its rating and its Stable outlook where they were. The rating applies to the credit lines of Isgec Hitachi Zosen, not to Isgec Heavy Engineering's own borrowings, although the filing treats it as a subsidiary and joint venture of the company.

For shareholders, the filing shows no change in the credit standing of this group entity as seen by ICRA. The agency's reasons are in its letter attached to the filing rather than in the summary page.
