Isgec Heavy Engineering Limited has told the exchanges on 8 Oct 2026 that it has issued letters of comfort for a cumulative ₹6,100 lakh (₹61 crore) in favour of the bankers of its joint venture and subsidiary company, Isgec Titan Metal Fabricators Private Limited. The company had earlier, on 27 May 2026, disclosed approval to issue corporate guarantees of up to ₹6,550 lakh on behalf of the same entity.

The details required by the SEBI master circular were filed as an annexure, along with the earlier intimation of 27 May 2026.

    Inference

The letters of comfort support the borrowings of a group entity and so put the company’s credibility behind them. The ₹61 crore issued is below the ₹65.50 crore that was approved.
