Consolidated total income grew faster than net profit. Income rose 47.7% year on year, while net profit rose 20.6%, and profit before tax rose 35.7%. Tax expense rose 101.2% to ₹220.46 crore, which is 35.3% of profit before tax of ₹623.81 crore, so the tax line absorbed much of the gain before tax.

The statement shows a ₹80.33 crore exceptional item for an additional impairment of the trade name of Arena Bilgisayar, a Turkish subsidiary. The company says the impact on consolidated profit after tax attributable to shareholders is about ₹39.68 crore, after non-controlling interests. The impairment is one reason the quarter's figures are not directly comparable with the prior year, since the year-earlier quarter carried no such item.

Finance costs rose 10.0% to ₹128.12 crore, while revenue from operations rose 47.7%. Finance costs are 0.3% of total income. Consolidated total borrowings stood at ₹5,992.40 crore in current borrowings at 30 Sep 2026.

Other income of ₹493.38 crore is 50.7% of standalone profit before tax of ₹973.99 crore, which is a large share of the result. The prior-year quarter had other income of ₹318.98 crore. Standalone other income in the quarter includes dividend income from subsidiaries, which the cash flow statement shows at ₹451.54 crore for the half year.

The filing does not state the reason for the large rise in quarterly revenue and trade receivables, or whether a dividend has been declared for the quarter.
