Net profit was almost flat against the year-earlier quarter while total income rose 3.4%. Profit before tax of ₹74.13 crore was up 0.1% on ₹74.04 crore, and tax of ₹17.91 crore was 24.2% of profit before tax, close to the 24.3% of a year earlier. Net profit margin fell to 19.21% from 19.81%.

Other income of ₹23.30 crore made up 31.4% of profit before tax this quarter, while revenue from operations of ₹269.37 crore grew more slowly at 2.4%. Other income is a larger share of the total than a year earlier, and the filing does not give a breakdown of its sources.

Finance costs of ₹12.81 crore were 4.4% of total income, against a lower year-earlier charge of ₹14.97 crore. Depreciation was ₹41.41 crore, close to ₹41.69 crore a year earlier.

    Inference

The filing reports unaudited results with a limited review by the statutory auditor, B S R & Co. LLP, which found nothing to indicate the statement was not prepared under the applicable accounting standards.

Other financial assets at 30 Sep 2026 include ₹189.00 crore of proceeds receivable from redemption of mutual fund investments, which the filing says were received in the bank account on 1 Oct 2026.

The filing does not give the reason for the fall in revenue from operations from the June 2026 quarter or for the fall in finance costs against the year-earlier quarter, and it does not say whether any dividend has been declared for the current period.
